Hugo The Hippo

Bill Feigenbaum directed and co-authored the animated feature film, Hugo the Hippo, which has now become a cult classic.  The film has received international acclaim since its release by Fox in 1976 to excellent reviews.

In May, 2010 Hugo was shown at The Cinefamily, a prestigious revival theater in Los Angeles. On May 10, 2012 Hugo the Hippo was shown at Pacific Cinematheque in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Throughout 2011 Hugo was continuously screened as part of a touring art exhibit in New Zealand which honored Hugo the Hippo’s production designer, Graham Percy.

On June 2nd and 3rd, 2012 Hugo was shown at the Northwest Film Forum in Seattle, Washington.  MOMA is considering screening Hugo the Hippo in New York.
